HealthCareNewYork was quite an advocated for my aunt, the designated CNA case worker built a solid relationship with her over time. Initially my aunt resisted having someone “care” for her. She had been independent for so many years, the aide patiently built a trust relationship small steps that gradually wore down the initial resistance. I would not be able to keep my aunt living in New York city and I living in Atlanta, GA without the support and assistance as well daily communication from HealthCareNewYork. It was a difficult and stressful decision however was the right one.
